About Us

Welcome Visitor!

From 2008 to 2017, The Brown Center for Autism was a Nashville-based non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving families and children impacted by an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Our Vision was to develop a replicable standard of care for family-centered and integrative early intervention that can be accessible to all. Through community partnerships and sharing of this model with nonprofit and for-profit providers, as well as schools and related agencies, our hope was that someday all children with Autism will have opportunity to realize their highest potential.

Our Mission was to help realize the potential of young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through individualized and collaborative treatment, and community and parent education.

The Brown Center for Autism was founded upon the following Values:
  • The belief that a child’s entire family is impacted by a diagnosis of autism
  • The commitment to act responsibly upon this belief
  • The belief that parental education is vital to each child’s success
  • The responsibility to teach parents strategies in terms they can understand and practically implement
  • The commitment to ensure that our professionals work as a seamless and synergistic team to deliver maximally effective autism treatment to our youth of Middle Tennessee
