Race Across the Spectrum:
5K Run/Walk for Autism
July 17, 2010
Make a difference in the life of a young child and their family by joining us for our first annual Race Across the Spectrum: 5K Run/Walk for Autism in support of research-based early intervention for young children impacted by Autism in Middle Tennessee. This run is dedicated to the 1 in 110 children and their families in Middle Tennessee who are affected by this disorder today. Research has shown that intensive, individualized, and early intervention is critical in helping individuals with autism realize their potential. This event is proudly Sponsored by Access National Mortgage.
This race is appropriate for both the fitness enthusiast, as well as the casual runner/walker, and is a USATF certified course. Race proceeds directly benefit the program services of the Brown Center for Autism, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization which provides comprehensive, therapeutic early intervention services to young children with autism ages 18 months through 5 years of age in Middle Tennessee.
