Gordon brings to The Brown Center a warm-hearted nature and a true love and talent for helping other children with autism reach many of the same milestones he helped his own child reach. Heidi Snow, B.A.

Heidi Snow, B.A.

Lead Classroom Teacher/Behavioral Interventionist

Heidi Snow received a BA in Child Development from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. Throughout her education, Heidi has had diverse working experiences with children. After working in San Diego as a Behavior Interventionist she was convinced that working with ABA therapy was the right career for her. A pivotal point in her life came after learning her diagnosis of Dyslexia and ADHD in her fourth year of undergrad. It was a process of coming to terms with the diagnosis as a part of how she functions and not as a disability, and acknowledging the ways in which she had naturally adapted her learning skills throughout her life. This experience gives her a passion to see all children as unique learners.  Now living in Nashville, Heidi is a vital part of the The Brown Center team.

what people are saying

"I sometimes wonder how Ben would have developed if they had been satisfied with the standard of care that we would have provided him. I can't help but feel a little guilty that they were the ones who provided me, the professional, with the best treatment sessions I have ever had with a child with autism. As an Occupational Therapist, treating autism is like fighting a forest fire with a garden hose. In children that I have treated since, I was able to tell about the wonderful things that this mother of a child with autism taught me..."
